Ryan Adams ready for more touring

Singer/songwriter Ryan Adams , who last year released three separate albums, will head out next month for a summer tour with his band, The Cardinals.

Adams' itinerary, which is included below, comprises a dozen dates that begin in late July and wrap up with an Aug. 4 set at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. He's also scheduled to open a Sept. 10 Willie Nelson concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, a duty he'll split with Neko Case.

Adams had a prolific 2005, which saw the May release of a double album titled "Cold Roses," and the September release of "Jacksonville City Nights," both of which are credited to Ryan Adams & The Cardinals. A third set titled "29" followed in December, and was billed as a solo set from Adams.

The Cardinals feature Neal Casal (guitar), Jon Graboff (steel guitar), Brad Pemberton (drums) and Catherine Popper (bass). Graboff took over for original steel-guitar player Cindy Cashdollar, who departed after recording "Cold Roses" with the group, and Casal replaced guitarist J.P. Bowersock, who split after the release of "Jacksonville City."
