Keith Anderson sets out on mighty trek

Country singer Keith Anderson will set out on a long summer trek Thursday (6/1), as he continues to support his 2005 debut, "Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll."

The Oklahoma-born singer will follow his Thursday night show in Winfield, KS, with a pair of performances in his home state before heading out to tackle a grueling schedule that currently runs well into the month of October.

Anderson's summer trek is liberally dotted with county fairs and similar events. A dash through several nightclubs, including a Sept. 22 show in Denver, CO, and a Sept. 28 visit to San Jose, CA, come later in the singer's itinerary.

Anderson's first album hit stores in May of last year. "Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll" features three songs co-written with John Rich of country duo Big & Rich, who also produced the title track.
