Two new shows have been added to Madonna 's upcoming "Confessions" tour, which is set to travel the US from late May through late July.
The latest dates on Madonna's schedule are a June 3 stop at Staples Center in Los Angeles--her fourth planned "Confessions" show in the Los Angeles area--and a June 19 performance at Chicago's United Center, marking her fourth show at that venue.
Tickets for the new Los Angeles show are scheduled to go on sale Sunday (5/7), while on-sales for the new Chicago date begin Monday (5/8).
Though many of Madonna's upcoming concerts are sold out, a limited number of tickets are available in many markets, according to the "Confessions" tour website. Details are in the itinerary below.
As previously reported, some of the tickets for Madonna's upcoming shows are being auctioned off as part of a fundraising effort for Music Rising, an organization that replaces instruments and equipment that Gulf Coast musicians lost due to last year's hurricanes. More information is available at the auction website.
Madonna is supporting her latest album, "Confessions on a Dance Floor," which debuted last year at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart and has sold more than 1.3 million copies in the US to date, according to Warner Bros. Records. Helping to drive sales is the album's hit single "Sorry."
