Ziggy Marley, Jason Mraz , Natasha Bedingfield and Big Head Todd and the Monsters are among the artists confirmed to play Sept. 12-14 at the West Beach Music & Arts Festival in Santa Barbara, CA, one of the only US festivals that takes place right on the beach, according to a press release.
Confirmed performers for the second annual festival, located seaside just west of Santa Barbara's Stearn's Wharf, also include Jackie Greene , The Expendables, and Kate Voegele, among others. More acts are expected to be announced at a later date.
This year's West Beach fest has expanded its "premium" seating--adding more Hawaiian-style cabanas next to the stage, which feature private food and drink service.
In addition to live music, this year's festival will feature arts and crafts vendors and activities oriented toward children as a means to make the festival more family friendly.
This year, the West Beach festival is pairing up with the Friends of the World Food Program, a US-based non-profit dedicated to building support for the United Nations World Food Program and other hunger relief efforts. Friends of WFP will provide concert-goers a donation opportunity in support of the UN program, which provides food to an average of 90 million people each year.
Ticket and additional information can be found at the West Beach Music Festival website.
