Kenny Chesney hit the ground running last weekend by opening his "Poets & Pirates" tour with two sold-out arena shows in Connecticut, and the country star continues to add dates to the itinerary. The extensive spring/summer outing continues Saturday in Columbia, SC, and is scheduled to visit a host of stadiums, arenas and amphitheaters across the US through mid-September.

The Black Keys have added a few new late-summer tour dates to their schedule as they support their recently released full-length studio set, "Attack & Release." The Ohio blues-rock duo will finish up a short May run, kicking off May 12 in Washington, DC, before heading off for a number of shows in Europe and Australia this summer. The band returns home in July for a few festival appearances and a short run of headlining dates following its Aug. 1 slot at Chicago's Lollapalooza.

Jimmy Buffett has added a few dates to his ever-growing "Year of Still Here" tour, including a pair of Las Vegas shows at the far end of his schedule. The new additions to the tour--which kicked off Monday in Texas, and continues tomorrow in St. Louis, MO--also include an Aug. 27 show in Wantagh, NY.

Veteran rockers Night Ranger are getting ready to release their first studio album in a decade and have launched a world tour to support the forthcoming set. The group will kick off the run's US leg May 11 in Oklahoma City and tackle an itinerary that stretches into the fall. The outing couches the July 1 release of the aforementioned new album, titled "Hole in the Sun."

A Tribe Called Quest [ tickets ], Nas, Mos Def, De La Soul, Rakim and reunited outfit The Pharcyde will headline this year's Rock the Bells festival series. Scheduled to make stops in nine North American cities during July and August, the traveling hip-hop event will also feature Method Man & Redman, Raekwon & Ghostface, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, Murs and Kidz in the Hall.
