Deborah Gibson Files Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker
Deborah Gibson is seeking a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court against a man who she claims follows her all over the country, according to published reports.
The man, Bassas Jorge Puigdollers, reportedly has shown up at her hotel and her house, and has tried to get backstage at her concerts. Gibson alleges in her court complaint that Puigdollers, a resident of Barcelona, Spain, sits in the front row at every US performance and makes himself "very conspicuous."
This past Sunday (4/13) Puigdollers, whose email address is "DebHead," allegedly left a note under the door of her Los Angeles-area home asking to meet her. Gibson's complaint claims he then knocked on her door for half an hour, which "totally freaked her out," according to TMZ.com. Gibson reportedly called 911; the police came to her home and detained Puigdollers.
