Britney Spears ' father will retain control of her finances and estate for five more months, a Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner ruled Mar. 5, according to published reports. James Spears was named co-conservator of Spears' estate after she was hospitalized twice earlier this year. His temporary authority was originally scheduled to expire Mar. 10 but was extended until Jul. 31, a court spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times.
In other Spears' news, the pop singer reportedly has been teaching dance classes to several young children at the Millennium Dance Company in Los Angeles. The mother of one of Spears' students told people.com that the pop singer has really inspired her daughter. "It's just amazing to watch Britney with the kids," said Pam Bouganim.
