Black Francis Is Back With New EP
Black Francis will release his latest work, "SVN FNGERS," April 1, the artist said in a statement. The music was written, recorded and mixed in six days, and on the seventh day, Mark Lemhouse did the art work, Francis said.
The new disc runs 20 minutes and comprises seven songs, which Francis said qualifies as a mini-LP under the "old formats." There will be selected tracks available for download on the Black Francis MySpace page as well as on his website.
Francis has posted a video for the song "I Sent Away" on YouTube. The first single to be released by the record company, Cooking Vinyl, will be "The Seus," for which Francis expects to also make a video.
