The Game plays across US

Southern California rapper The Game has assembled a coast-to-coast US trek to support his latest effort, "LAX."

The club/theater outing is scheduled to visit nearly 30 cities, starting with several California performances in mid-February. Major-market stops include Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, New Orleans, New York City and Chicago. The full itinerary is listed below.

The Game, who's real name is Jayceon Taylor, dropped his third studio album, "LAX," in August and scored the top spots on Billboard's R&B/hip-hop and rap albums charts, as well as the No. 2 slot on the US album chart. The set features a host of guest stars, including Keyshia Cole, Ludacris, Nas, Ice Cube, Lil Wayne, Raekwon, Ne-Yo and Travis Barker. Several songs from "LAX," including rap and R&B hits "Game's Pain" and "My Life," are streaming at The Game's MySpace page.

The Grammy-nominated rapper, who is indeed "straight outta Compton," previously announced that his latest effort would be his last. However, he has since said he reserves the right to change his mind.

"If my fourth album comes together, if the idea of it comes together the way that I want to, I'll maybe consider doin' a fourth album," Taylor told DJBooth.net in an interview last year. "But if I can't get in the studio with the people that I want to, and make it happen the way that I want to, if I can't even get them to talk about the idea, then I won't even consider it."

Just in case the stars do line up for another album, Taylor has it all planned.

"My fourth album will be titled--if it comes to life--'The DOC,' and that's 'The Diary of Compton,'" he explained to DJBooth. "It'll have 10 tracks on it which are [unlisted]. It will not have names on it; they'll just be called chapters one through 10. If I can get Dr. Dre, MC Ren, King Tee, DJ Yella, Ice Cube and DJ Quik to help me ... and I can document it all and get it done the way I want to do it, then 'The DOC' will hit stores.
