Silverstein pushes 'Shipwreck' across North America

Canadian rockers Silverstein will spend the summer on the road in support of their recent release, "A Shipwreck in the Sand."
The three-month trek, which combines a 12-date headlining run with an 11-city stint on the Vans Warped Tour, kicks off June 18 in Windsor, Ontario. The hardcore outfit will stop by theaters across Canada and major US markets throughout the North and West, finishing up Aug. 23 in Carson, CA. Details are below.
The new slate of performances comes on the heels of an extensive late winter/early spring jaunt that had the quintet playing in 38 US cities from coast to coast. That leg wrapped up with a May 3 gig at East Rutherford, NJ's Bamboozle Festival.
Silverstein followed up 2007's "Arrivals & Departures" with its fourth full-length studio effort, "A Shipwreck in the Sand," which surfaced in March. The record, produced by Cameron Webb, is broken into four chapters based on betrayal, infidelity, arson and true love, according to the album's website.
