Rancid offers behind-the-scenes look at new album

Rancid is releasing a series of webisodes that feature behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the new album "Let The Dominoes Fall," according to a press release. New webisodes--nearly two dozen installments in total--will premiere every weekday on the Hellcat/Epitaph Records website leading up to the album's June 2 release.

The webisodes--several installments of which have already been posted--include clips of the band recording demos of its new songs at drummer Branden Steineckert's Utah home; footage of Tim Armstrong and the late Joe Strummer; and interviews with band members about previous records and the early days of Rancid.

The behind-the-scenes videos are part of Rachel Tejada's documentary "Let The Dominos Fall -- The Making of the Seventh Record," which will be included in an expanded edition of the album. The expanded edition also will be packaged with exclusive Rancid posters and guitar picks, as well as a bonus CD featuring acoustic versions of the 12 songs on the new release.
