Pavement to curate England's ATP Weekend

Pavement will headline and curate England's ATP Weekend May 14-16 at Butlin's holiday camp in Somerset, according to an NME report.

The "All Tomorrow's Parties" gig is Pavement's first scheduled UK show following an extended hiatus.

ATP, named after the Velvet Underground song, was founded in 1999 as an alternative to large-scale festivals like Glastonbury and Reading. It also differs from other festivals by having an artist curator invite their favorite performers to play. Line-up announcements will be posted at the ATP website.

As previously reported, Pavement also will play the Rumsey Playfield in New York City's Central Park in September 2010.
