Paramore [ tickets ] has postponed six concerts, starting with last night's (10/1) planned show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, according to statement on the band's website.

The tour is now scheduled to resume Oct. 10 in Chicago, and the postponed dates have been rescheduled for November. Paramore's updated itinerary is below.

Apparently singer Hayley Williams' voice gave out during the first show of the band's month-long North American tour, Sept. 29 at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA.

A Rolling Stone report said Williams sounded fine at the Fox, where the band played an "action-packed" set that mixed songs from the new release, "Brand New Eyes," with tunes from Paramore's first two albums.

However, when the band came on stage for an encore, Williams reportedly stayed behind. Guitarist Josh Farro told the audience that Williams' voice was "completely shot," according to Rolling Stone. He then asked the audience to handle the vocals while the band played "Misery Business."

"Sing so Hayley can hear you," Farro said. "She's really upset and feels like she's letting you guys down."
