New Found Glory fills fall schedule with headlining shows and support dates

Pop-punk act New Found Glory will embark on a quick club tour before hitting the road as opening support for Dashboard Confessional later this fall.
The Florida-based quintet will spend two weeks on a headlining trek, beginning with an Oct. 18 appearance in New Haven, CT. The support outing alongside Dashboard Confessional kicks off Nov. 7 in Louisville, KY, stopping by 25 major markets before wrapping up Dec. 18 in Atlanta. Details are below.
"Not Without a Fight," New Found Glory's sixth studio set, surfaced in March. The new album was leaked six weeks before its official release date, but still managed to debut at No. 12 on The Billboard 200, making it the group's fourth Top 20 album.
"I really, really, really think it helped," lead guitarist Chad Gilbert told LiveDaily in a recent interview. "Since [2006's] 'Coming Home' was so different, I think some people were skeptical in what direction our new record was going to come."
The video for "Listen to Your Friends," a track from "Not Without a Fight," is currently streaming at the band's MySpace page.
