Singer/songwriter Neko Case [ tickets ] has filled out her fall headlining run behind her most recent release, "Middle Cyclone."

Since last check, the performer has tacked another nine shows onto the tour, which gets its start Oct. 4 at San Francisco's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. Following the festival gig, Case will board the tour bus for an 18-city theater trek, which runs through a Nov. 23 engagement in Dallas. Details are shown below.

Case, who will pay her first visit to the NPR program "A Prairie Home Companion" Oct. 10, is supporting her fifth studio effort, "Middle Cyclone." The new record, which surfaced in March on the ANTI- label and landed at No. 3 on The Billboard 200, is Case's first solo set since 2006's "Fox Confessor Brings The Flood." The album also marks the performer's first entry in the US Top 10.

Case co-produced "Middle Cyclone" with Darryl Newdorf, and enlisted special guests M. Ward, Garth Hudson, Sarah Harmer, and members of Los Lobos, Calexico, The New Pornographers and Giant Sand, among others.

The new set's lead single, "People Got A Lotta Nerve," is currently streaming at Case's MySpace page.
