Live Noel Gallagher album released for charity
Noel Gallagher 's 2007 performance at the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert is now available for download via Apple's iTunes store. Prior to yesterday's (5/4) release, the live set only was available in the UK.
"The Dreams We Have As Children (Live for Teenage Cancer Trust)" features Gallagher on stage at London's Royal Albert Hall performing classic and rare tracks from the Oasis catalog, as well as cover versions of songs originally recorded by some of his favorite artists, including The Smiths and The Beatles, according to a press release.
The collection also features special guests including Paul Weller, who joins Gallagher to perform "All You Need Is Love" and The Jam classic "The Butterfly Collector."
Teenage Cancer Trust was established in 1997 to focus on the unique needs of teenagers and young adults battling cancer, leukemia, Hodgkin's and related diseases by providing specialized units in Britain's NHS hospitals. In 2000, long-time TCT supporter Roger Daltrey helped launch the annual benefit concerts at Royal Albert Hall.
