Limp Bizkit takes three MTV Europe awards

With three wins, Limp Bizkit --a band that finds itself in limbo following the departure of guitarist Wes Borland--was the top honoree at the MTV Europe Music Awards on Thursday night (11/8).

The band won for Best Group, and its "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" (Interscope) LP picked up Best Album. Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit's website won the Web Award.

During the ceremony, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst--taking the stage with Puddle of Mudd--performed a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Thank You," which featured a guitar solo by former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

Also winning multiple awards were Gorillaz , which picked up the Best Dance and Best Song awards, and Craig David , who won Best R&B and Best U.K. and Ireland Act.
