Lady Antebellum emphasizes 'Need You Now'
Country trio Lady Antebellum will finish a support tour with Keith Urban before hitting the road for its own headlining run later this fall.
The three-piece Nashville band will perform three more shows alongside Urban, wrapping up with an Oct. 13 hometown performance. After a week-long break, the country act will return to the tour bus, kicking things off with a Nov. 21 concert in Phoenix. The 11-city tour will visit clubs, fairs and casinos through a Dec. 4 show in Vinton, LA. Details are below.
Lady Antebellum--comprised of singer Charles Kelley, singer Hillary Scott and guitarist Dave Haywood--is anticipating the release of its sophomore album, "Need You Now." The new effort, which follows the group's 2008 self-titled debut, is slated for release in early 2010, according to the band's website.
The forthcoming set's first single, "Need You Now," is available for download via iTunes and is currently streaming at Lady Antebellum's MySpace page. A video posted at the band's website shows fans how to play the guitar part of the new single with instruction from Haywood.
Lady Antebellum has been nominated for two CMA awards: Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year for "I Run to You." The 43rd annual awards program airs on ABC Nov. 11.
