Jason Aldean continues 'Wide Open' run
Country crooner Jason Aldean has tacked additional dates onto his in-progress trek behind "Wide Open" and will forge ahead on the tour trail through late November.
Aldean, who first hit the road this summer, has added another 10 performances to the schedule, which continues tomorrow night (10/8) with a show in Jonesboro, AR. The Georgia-based performer will visit fairs and arenas throughout the Midwest and South before wrapping with a Nov. 21 concert in Florence, SC. Details are below.
Aldean has maintained a constant touring pace since the April release of "Wide Open," his third studio album, which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The record has spawned two hit singles thus far: "She's Country" and "Big Green Tractor."
In August, the country singer released "Wide Open Live & More," his first-ever live concert DVD, which was filmed in March at a sold-out Knoxville concert.
Next month (11/7), Aldean will headline the "Ropin' & Rockin' For Pennies For the Park" fundraiser in Fort Scott, KS. The event, created by Atlanta Braves first baseman Adam LaRoche, will raise money to develop and expand the city's family-oriented Ellis Park, according to a press release.
