Heart fills out summer tour plans

Now two months into their latest tour, iconic rockers Heart have added a few more concerts to the pair's US road trip.
The duo--made up of sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson--first hit the road in May and will continue the lengthy summer outing tonight (7/9) in San Diego. With an additional 11 shows now on the books, the group is slated to stop by fairgrounds, arenas and casinos in 36 cities from coast to coast. Many of the summer gigs will have the sisters sharing the stage with classic rockers Journey. The full itinerary is detailed below.
"Jupiter's Darling," Heart's most recent studio effort, surfaced in 2004 and marked the pair's first new material since 1995. The sibling musicians were given the ASCAP Founders Award at the organization's 26th Annual Pop Music Awards in April.
According to an ASCAP-related press release, Heart is also preparing to enter the studio some time this year to work on the duo's 14th studio album.
In honor of the 30th anniversary of their multi-platinum 1978 release "Dog & Butterfly," the pair has unveiled a limited-edition plaque featuring a platinum-plated copy of the breakthrough record. The personalized momento can be pre-ordered now via the duo's website.
