Gavin Rossdale heads out with 'Wanderlust'

Former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale has mapped a spring headlining tour behind his solo debut album, "Wanderlust," which surfaced last summer.

The British singer--who also fronted the short-lived alt-rock act Institute following Bush's disbandment in 2002--kicks off the two-month outing April 14 in Seattle. The 34-city itinerary stretches through April and May, coming to a close June 7 in Anaheim, CA, at the end of a West Coast leg. Dates are below.

"Wanderlust," which was produced by Canadian studio whiz Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue), features an impressive roster of guest musical talent, including Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, Garbage singer Shirley Manson, songwriter/producer Linda Perry, guitarist/songwriter Joel Shearer and drummer Josh Freese, among others. Rossdale's wife, Gwen Stefani, also contributes backing vocals.

Released last June, the album peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 chart, with the set's lead single, "Love Remains the Same," peaking at No. 27 on the Hot 100. The song was Rossdale's first Top 40 hit in the US since Bush scored a pair of hit singles in 1995 with "Glycerine" and "Comedown."

Rossdale announced late last year that he believed Bush would reunite in some form in 2009, although further details of such a reunion have not been forthcoming.
