After a three-year wait, Tracy Chapman fans finally had a chance to see the singer/songwriter live in concert again. The multi-platinum and multiple Grammy-winning artist kicked off a brief tour last month (7/31).

The Cleveland, OH, native is probably best known for her hit singles "Fast Car," which peaked at No. 6 on the The Billboard Hot 100 in 1988, and "Give Me One Reason," which peaked at No. 3 in 1996. This year finds Chapman looking ahead, right down to the name of new studio album, "Our Bright Future," a set she co-produced with Larry Klein of Joni Mitchell and Herbie Hancock fame.

LiveDaily photographer Tim Mosenfelder attended Chapman's concert in San Francsico on Friday (8/21), and here are some of his best shots.
