Heavy-metal rockers Slipknot [ tickets ] are a far cry from the homoginized image of their home state of Iowa. Since 1995, the band's extensive lineup--now nine members: Sid Wilson, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, and Corey Taylors--has collectively opted to keep their identities secret by wearing masks.

Last year, the group released its fourth studio album, "All Hope Is Gone," which debuted at a top spot on The Billboard 200 chart. This summer, the band will headline the UK’s Download Festival (6/12-6/14) in Donington Park, Leicestershire.

With the band having just completed the US leg of its current tour, fans stateside will have to wait until the group returns from Europe in mid-July to see if they add any additional dates.
