Hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes , as the story goes, was given his memorable nickname by Chuck D of Public Enemy, who, after seeing Rhymes perform, was reminded of the NFL wide-receiver George "Buster" Rhymes.

A former school mate of Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G, Rhymes has been honing his craft since 1990, and has collaborated with the likes of Dr. Dre , Mary J. Blige , Diddy , Pharrell , Nas and Will.I.Am , to name of few. Six years in, as a solo performer, he had his first hit single, "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check," from the now-platinum set "The Coming."

This May will see the release of Busta's eighth studio album, "Back on My B.S." Fans can get a taste of his new material at a few scheduled shows along the eastern seaboard throughout March. LiveDaily photographer Lyle A. Waisman attended Busta's show at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL on Thursday (3/5) and here are some of his best shots.
