Corey Smith maintains busy schedule

Singer/songwriter Corey Smith has extended his summer run into the fall and winter months as he continues working the road behind his most recent release, 2007's "Hard-Headed Fool."
The outing--the summer portion of which ended late last month--picks up again Wednesday (10/7) in Baton Rouge, LA, followed by stops in 29 cities throughout the South and East. The tour wraps with a New Year's Eve performance (12/31) in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Details are below.
Smith's most recent studio set, "Hard-Headed Fool," surfaced in September 2007. Last summer, the Georgia native unveiled "Outtakes from the Georgia Theatre," a six-song EP recorded live in Athens, GA.
The performer, who has relied on MySpace and other Internet tools to help grow his following, has several tracks from his discography available for free download at his website.
Smith is currently working on new songs, according to his site. No word yet on when a new album might surface.
