Concert-goers busted at Lil' Wayne, Blink-182 shows

Nearly 30 people were arrested over two days at concerts held at at the same Darien Center, NY, venue, according to published reports.

Thursday (8/27) night, 23 people attending a Lil' Wayne concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center were arrested on minor charges including marijuana and alcohol possession, according to The Buffalo News. Only three of those arrested were taken to jail. The 20 others were issued tickets to appear in Darien Town Court on Sept. 8.

On Friday (8/28), 16 people were arrested at a Blink-182 show at the same theme park venue, according to The Daily News Online.

All of those arrested at the Blink show face similar charges to those busted during the Lil' Wayne concert: trespassing, petty larceny, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol under the age of 21.

Three of 16 people arrested at the Blink show were sent to jail, according to The News' report. Those who were fortunate enough to miss out on the jail experience were issued tickets to appear in Darien Town Court today (9/1).
