Post-hardcore rockers Chiodos [ tickets ] will sandwich a joint tour with Motion City Soundtrack this fall between stretches of headlining dates, including three Mexico shows.

The six-member Michigan-bred outfit continues a run of shows tomorrow night (7/26) in Pontiac, MI, a stretch that will take them all the way to Alaska for appearances in Anchorage (9/12) and Fairbanks (9/13) before the band kicks off its run with the Motion City crew Sept. 22 in Louisville, KY.

Following the shared-bill outing, which runs into early October, the band will head south of the US border for three shows in Mexico, starting with a Nov. 21 date in Monterrey. The complete schedule is included below.

The group continues to support last year's "Bone Palace Ballet," Chiodos' sophomore offering on Equal Vision Records, which followed 2005's "All's Well That Ends Well." A couple of songs from the set are streaming at the band's MySpace page.

The band recently announced plans for a special edition of the CD. Due later this year, the set will include an as-yet undisclosed number of new songs as well as a 30-minute preview of the band's planned concert DVD, which it hopes to release in early 2009.

The sextet, which formed in high school just outside of Flint, MI, self-released a pair of EPs before releasing 2003's "The Heartless Control Everything" EP, followed by the band's 2005 debut full-length on the Equal Vision label.
