'Causes' collection to benefit Darfur set for May release

The Decemberists , Gnarls Barkley , My Morning Jacket and LCD Soundsystem are among the artists lending songs to "Causes 2," the second album in Waxploitation Records' ongoing benefit series for Darfur, according to a press release.

Additional artists on the release include Devendra Banhart, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Diplo, Mum, Federico Aubele, Matthew Dear, Neon Neon, RJD2 and Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings. Adult Swim's Tim and Eric also have contributed a cut to the release.

All of the proceeds from "Causes 2," which is scheduled for a May 5 release, will go to Doctors Without Boarders/Medecins Sans Frontieres, Human Rights Watch and Oxfam America.
