Briefly: Lil' Kim, The Who, Kenny Chesney, Radiohead

Even though rapper Lil' Kim is currently serving a yearlong prison sentence, her Lil' Kim Cares charity organization has announced a holiday donation.

The organization announced Thursday (12/22) that it--in partnership with several other charity groups--is donating toys to underprivileged children in the Philadelphia area. Children age 13 and under were able to pick up presents.

Kim, who was convicted of perjury in March, also sent a message to her fans via a recent handwritten letter, which has been posted to her website.

"I thank all of you for your heartfelt, overwhelming, tremendous love and support," the letter reads. "It has been your wonderful letters that has [sic] helped my time pass."

NME reports that Radiohead's Ed O'Brien told BBC Radio 1 that the band plans to embark on a tour of U.K. and European theaters in May. A summer U.S. tour will follow, he reportedly said.

Radiohead is at work on a new album, but no release date is targeted.

The Who is planning it's first extended North American tour in almost four years for next summer, the band's manager reportedly told Rolling Stone.

The group is expected to return to the studio in February to resume work on a new album titled "Who2."
