Brett Dennen, Grace Potter link up for late-year road trip
Singer/songwriter Brett Dennen will hit the road next month for a run of headlining dates with help from blues-rockers Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
The trek gets underway Nov. 13 in Nashville, TN, with the two acts scheduled to hit 22 cities through the middle of December. Dennen closes out 2009 with a New Year's Eve appearance in Oakland, CA. Dates are below.
"Hope For the Hopeless,' Dennen's third studio album, emerged last fall. The set--which features an appearance by afro-beat star Femi Kuti on the first track, "Make You Crazy"--debuted at No. 41 on The Billboard 200, Dennen's highest chart appearance so far.
The album follows 2006's "So Much More." Dennen also released a live EP, "(More) So Much More," in 2007.
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals recently finished recording their yet-untitled third album with the help of Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett. The set, which follows 2007's "This is Somewhere," is tentatively due for release before the end of the year.
