Bonnie Raitt postpones much of March tour

Bonnie Raitt has rescheduled several March concerts due to a dire family health emergency, according to a statement on her official website.

Raitt's March 11 show in Pensacola, Fl, has been moved to Oct. 20; her March 13 gig in St. Augustine, FL, to Oct. 24; March 14 in Pompano Beach, FL, to Oct. 23; March 15 in Clearwater, FL, to Oct. 22; March 17 in Asheville, NC, to Oct 13; March 18 in Savannah, GA, to Oct. 17; March 20 in Myrtle Beach, SC, to Oct. 17; and March 22 in Knoxville, TN, to Oct. 14.

A new date and venue for Raitt's March 21 concert in Columbia, SC, is expected to soon be announced.

Promoters are expected to honor tickets for the rescheduled dates, however, Raitt suggests checking at point of purchase to confirm individual policies. Refunds also will be available at point of purchase.

Raitt apologized in a statement and said she regrets any inconvenience to her fans.

Raitt's Feb. 27-March 9 concert dates will proceed as scheduled.
