Fall Out Boy
"****Live in Phoenix"
(Island)
Pete Wentz's pop punk outfit has ventured into the DVD market with "****Live in Phoenix," a 60-minute window of the group's June 2007 Honda Civic Tour performance at Phoenix's Cricket Pavilion, released April 1. Fall Out Boy's biggest hits spanning the band's three albums are featured, including "Dance, Dance," "Me & You," "Saturday" and "Sugar We're Going Down." Rounding out the disc are eight music videos shown in chronological order, along with behind-the-scenes footage and out-takes from the successful tour.
John Legend
"Live From Philadelphia"
(Sony)
R&B/neo-soul singer John Legend is celebrating the April 8 release of "Live From Philadelphia," a two-disc set comprised of an audio album and a concert-focused DVD. Culled from various performances from his 2007 "Show Me" tour rather than one complete live set, the concert footage includes "Save Room," Ordinary People," "Slow Dance" and "Used to Love U." An interview with Legend and music videos for "Another Again" and "Show Me" make the cut as well.
The Clash
"The Clash Live: Revolution Rock"
(Epic/Legacy)
Fans of English punk-rock icons The Clash will appreciate the extensive breadth of this music documentary, which hits shelves April 15. Grammy-winning producer Don Letts incorporates material from all phases of the group's career with live in-studio clips dating back to 1979, concert footage from London's The Music Machine Club (1978) and The Lyceum (1978 and 1980), and a memorable 1982 performance at New York's Shea Stadium.
The Osmonds
"The Osmonds - Live in Las Vegas 50th Anniversary Reunion Concert"
(Denon)
For the first time in 27 years, the Osmond family reunited at Las Vegas' Orleans Hotel and Casino to celebrate the clan's 50th anniversary and perform a slew of songs, all for PBS's annual pledge drive. The 61-minute show, released April 1 on DVD, showcases 22 hits including The Osmond Brothers' "One Bad Apple" and "Lazy River," Donny Osmond's "Puppy Love," Marie Osmond's "Paper Roses" and Jimmy Osmond's "Long Haired Lover From Liverpool." The Collector's Edition includes a bonus disc featuring exclusive performances, interviews with the family and rare video footage.
Erasure
"Live at Royal Albert Hall"
(Mute U.S.)
British synth-pop duo Erasure will unveil its latest live DVD April 15, which captures the pair's 2007 performance at London's famed Royal Albert Hall. The prolific keyboardist Vince Clarke and singer Andy Bell work their way through classic Erasure hits ("Stop!," "Breathe," "Chains of Love") and several tracks from their most recent release, May 2007's "Light at the End of the World," including "Sunday Girl," "I Could Fall in Love With You" and "Storm in a Teacup."
