Alice in Chains announce album name, release date
Alice in Chains ' newly-named, upcoming album, "Black Gives Way To Blue," is set for a Sept. 29 release, according to a press statement. The record will be the band's first new studio recording in more than 10 years, and the first with new vocalist William DuVall.
This summer, the band will head out on a European tour for several festival stops with Metallica, as well as a string of headlining shows beginning Aug. 6 in Cologne, Germany. In the US, Alice in Chains will perform on a bill with Kid Rock July 18 at Comerica Park in Detroit.
