Trace Adkins corrals headlining dates
Trace Adkins will spend most of next month sharing the stage with fellow country singer Gretchen Wilson, but he'll set out on his own shortly thereafter.
After finishing up a 10-date stint with Wilson in late May, Adkins will tackle a headlining itinerary that gets underway at the beginning of June and so far stretches through September. Details are included below.
Last week, Adkins served up "Swing," the first single from his upcoming new album, "Dangerous Man." The cut, on which Adkins uses a number of baseball metaphors, is currently streaming at Major League Baseball's website.
The disc is expected to arrive in stores "later this summer," according to Adkins' website.
"Dangerous Man" will follow last year's platinum-certified "Songs About Me," which made its debut in the No. 1 slot on Billboard's Country Albums chart after racking up first-week sales of about 63,000 copies.
