Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban lead CMT Awards

Newcomer Carrie Underwood was the only multiple-award winner and Keith Urban took home the coveted Video of the Year Award at Monday night's (4/10) CMT Music Awards , which took place at the Curb Events Center at Nashville's Belmont University.

Underwood's hit "Jesus, Take the Wheel" took the honors in the Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year categories, while Urban's prize was for his "Better Days" video.

Veteran country star Hank Williams, Jr. was presented with the Johnny Cash Visionary Award, joining a list of previous winners that includes the Dixie Chicks (2002), Cash (2003), Reba McEntire (2004) and Loretta Lynn (2005).

The night's performers included Kenny Chesney (who also won this year's Male Video of the Year award), Toby Keith, Gretchen Wilson, Rascal Flatts (who won for Group/Duo Video of the Year), Sugarland, Urban and Underwood. Comic Jeff Foxworthy hosted the ceremony.
