Roger Daltrey On The Road Again Following Auto Accident

Roger Daltrey , who is in Australia touring with the "Ultimate Rock Symphony," was onstage a few hours after suffering whiplash in a Sydney car accident. However, he was forced to cancel a performance the following night because of the injury, according to Australian press reports.

The Who's frontman--who is appearing on a touring bill that also features Peter Frampton , Alice Cooper and Bad Company 's Paul Rodgers--managed to get though the post-accident performance in Sydney on Friday (3/3), but a doctor reportedly told him not to perform on Saturday in Canberra. Many of the 10,000 people who bought tickets to the Canberra show were reportedly already in their seats when the show was called off.

The Canberra show reportedly will not be rescheduled. The tour is now back on the road, and no other cancellations are expected.
