Ghostface Killah scares up headlining tour

Shortly after finishing his stint on the in-progress Wu-Tang Clan reunion tour, Ghostface Killah will set out on his own headlining roadtrip.

The rapper, who is gearing up for the Feb. 28 release of his new album, "Fishscale," will launch the solo run March 5 in Pittsburgh, and plans to make stops in more than 30 cities by late April.

The new album and headlining trek follow the Feb. 19 conclusion of Wu-Tang's outing, which launched Tuesday (2/7) in New Haven, CT. The hip-hop collective, which kicks off a two-night stand in Boston tonight (2/8), has limited the run to a total of 11 performances, all of which are set on the East Coast.

The itineraries for the Wu-Tang and Ghostface Killah tours are included below.

Wu-Tang Clan performances have been rare in recent years--and tours even less frequent--because the group's principals all have successful solo careers. Prior to Tuesday's (2/7) reunion-tour kick-off, its members hadn't performed as a unit since November of 2004, the night before Wu-Tang rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard--who didn't show up for that gig--collapsed and died.

"Fishscale," Ghostface's fifth album, features the single "Back Like That." The song, which features up-and-coming rapper Ne-Yo, is streaming at Def Jam's Ghostface website.

Among the producers who had a hand in "Fishscale" are MF Doom, Pete Rock, J.Dilla and MadLib, among others.

Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon guests on four songs on "Fishscale," and the entire group appears on "Wu United."
