Kid Rock hammers out more shows
The itinerary for Kid Rock 's in-progress tour, which kicked off late last month, continues to grow, and now features a number of new late-winter/early spring dates.
March shows have been added throughout the Midwest, South and Northeast, including stops in Omaha, Memphis, Boston and the Philadelphia area. Details are shown below.
In addition to penciling in new shows, Rock has scrapped a previously announced Feb. 19 concert at the Jacksonville Arena in Jacksonville, FL, due to "unforeseen circumstances regarding ticketing and set-up for a new building configuration," according to a press release from show-promoter Live Nation. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Meanwhile, fans who were planning to catch the show in Jacksonville and are willing to drive a couple hundred miles south can look into buying tickets for a recently added Feb. 20 show in Clearwater, FL.
Later this month, Rock offers up "Live Trucker," a 2-disc concert album. The set, which had tentatively been titled "When I'm Dead ... Kid Rock Live," is scheduled to hit stores Feb. 21, a week later than originally announced.
Rock's most recent studio release is his 2003 self-titled set, which features his cover of Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love."
Joining Rock on the road will be his longtime band, Twisted Brown Trucker: guitarist Jason Krause, keyboardist Jimmie Bones and drummer Stefanie Eulinberg.
Rock, a Detroit native, returned to his hometown for Super Bowl weekend, and played back-to-back concerts at the city's Joe Louis Arena on Friday (2/3) and Saturday (2/4) nights.
