Radiohead, Tom Petty, Phil Lesh to headline Bonnaroo

February 1, 2006 09:12 AM
Radiohead , Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Phil Lesh & Friends have signed on as the headliners at this year's three-day Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, which will also feature Beck , Elvis Costello, Bonnie Raitt and Matisyahu, among others.

Now in its fifth year, the event--which, in previous years, has mainly featured jam bands--will also include performances from Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Ben Folds, My Morning Jacket, Blues Traveler, Cat Power and Moe.

A complete list of currently confirmed acts is included below, and more performers will be announced shortly, according to event organizers Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment.

"We are proud of the fact that Bonnaroo is a major event for so many artists and fans," Superfly's Richard Goodstone said in a statement. "This year's lineup continues our mission to bring together groundbreaking artists from a range of eras and genres.

As previously reported, this year's festival will take place June 16-18 in Manchester, TN. Tickets go on sale Feb. 11 via the Bonnaroo website. A limited number will be priced at $169.50 each, and once that supply runs out, the cost will "increase without notice" to $184.50, according to information posted at the site.

Organizers plan to cap ticket sales at 80,000, which was the cut-off for the 2003 edition of the festival; that's a 10,000-person reduction from the past two years, according to a press release.

Radiohead's performance at Bonnaroo will be the group's only American festival appearance of the summer, according to Bonnaroo organizers.
