Briefly: Destiny's Child, Blondie, Britney Spears, Pink
R&B group Destiny's Child will give what's being billed as its final live performance together when the trio sings the national anthem prior to the 2006 NBA All-Star Game.
The game takes place Feb. 19 in Houston, and will air live on the TNT cable network.
The Blondie CD/DVD package "Greatest Hits - Sound & Vision" is set for release in the US on March 7, a week before the new-wave icons are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The collection, which has already been released in Europe, contains 20 audio tracks and 16 video clips, including the band's biggest hits, as well as previously unreleased remixes.
Included in the set is the audio version of "Rapture Riders"--a new mash-up of Blondie's "Rapture" and The Doors' "Riders on The Storm"--and its UK music video.
Britney Spears is scheduled to guest star on an upcoming episode of the NBC sitcom "Will & Grace," the network announced. She'll play a Christian conservative sidekick on Jack's (played by Sean Hayes) talk show. The episode is scheduled to air on April 13.
Pink drops a new album titled "I'm Not Dead" on April 4. The video for first single "Stupid Girls" debuted this week on MTV and VH1.
Among Pink's promotional plans for the set is an April 1 appearance on Nickelodeon's "Kids Choice Awards."
