More tour stops on tap for Kid Rock
On the eve of his return to the road after a yearlong break from touring, Kid Rock is still expanding his early 2006 trek.
Among the latest additions to the Detroit rocker's outing--which opens Friday (1/20) in Connecticut--are stops in Jacksonville, FL; Pittsburgh, PA; Louisville, KY; and Knoxville, TN.
Currently scheduled to visit 18 cities, the tour is highlighted by Kid Rock 's Feb. 3-4 hometown engagement at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena.
A new, 2-disc Kid Rock concert album dubbed "Live Trucker"--which until recently had the working title of "When I'm Dead ... Kid Rock Live"--is being readied for release on Feb. 21, a week later than previously reported. Kid Rock's most recent release is his 2003 self-titled set, which features his cover of Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love."
Joining Kid Rock on the road will be his longtime band, Twisted Brown Trucker: guitarist Jason Krause, keyboardist Jimmie Bones and drummer Stefanie Eulinberg.
