Eminem, Kim Mathers submit marriage license application
Rapper Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Mathers, are apparently planning to remarry within a month.
According to a Detroit Free Press report, Kim Mathers submitted a marriage license application at the Macomb County clerk's office on Monday (1/11), and it was processed on Tuesday (1/12). The license application will expire if the couple doesn't marry in Michigan within 30 days.
Mathers and Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, divorced in 2001. Their oft-stormy relationship, which began when they were teens, has been fodder for many of the rapper's songs.
Eminem said in December that he and his ex-wife--who, according to the Free Press, reconciled in late 2004--probably would remarry. Speculation is that the ceremony will take place Saturday, but (1/14) plans are being kept quiet.
