Toby Keith's 'Big Throwdown' trek still taking shape
New dates continue to trickle in for Toby Keith 's early-2006 "Big Throwdown II" tour, which is now scheduled to visit 15 cities in the northwestern, midwestern and southern U.S.
Among the recent additions to Keith's itinerary are Memphis, TN; St. Paul, MN; Auburn Hills, MI; and Lafayette, LA. The outing--which will also feature Joe Nichols, Danielle Peck and Scotty Emerick--is still set to launch Jan. 20 in Portland, OR.
Tickets for many shows are on sale now. Details about upcoming on-sales are included in the itinerary below.
In addition to the 'Big Throwdown' shows, Keith is scheduled to perform at the Houston Livestock
Show and Rodeo on March 8, and at three country festivals in June.
Keith continues to support "Honkytonk University," his first new studio album since 2004's quadruple-platinum "Shock'N Y'All." In the interim, he issued the double-platinum set "Greatest Hits 2" last fall.
Earlier this year, Keith took home the trophy for Music Video of the Year at the Country Music Association's award show. The CMA award was Keith's second, after being named Male Vocalist of the Year in 2001.
