Lindsay Lohan [ tickets ] was admitted to a Miami hospital Monday night (1/2), reportedly after suffering a severe asthma attack.

Lohan's publicist told the Associated Press on Tuesday (1/3) that the pop star/actress was resting comfortably. Lohan's mother told People Magazine that her daughter plans to return home to New York to recuperate.

Word of the hospitalization comes amid reports that Lohan, 19, says in the new issue of Vanity Fair that she recently battled an eating disorder and has used drugs.
