Brooks & Dunn roll out more 2006 shows
Fresh off of their latest CMA Vocal Duo of the Year win, Brooks & Dunn are lining up more 2006 North American shows, including a string of Canadian tour stops.
The pair has a handful of November and December concerts left on its schedule, including a New Year's Eve show in Nashville. Meanwhile, the 2006 roadwork currently comprises a stretch of February U.S. shows, and a newly scheduled batch of April Canadian dates. Details are included below.
Earlier this month, Brooks & Dunn hosted the CMA Awards for the second consecutive year, and picked up their third Vocal Duo of the Year award.
"We never take this stuff for granted," Brooks said following the win. "The longer we're out here, too, in a lot of ways, the more we appreciate it, because we see so many great acts who're out here with us, and you realize how steep the competition really is. So, this win is even better 'cause it says people are still digging what we're doing. We're still keeping it fresh and people are into it."
"Hillbilly Deluxe," the pair's ninth album, hit stores in early October. The disc features the cut "Believe," which Dunn penned with Craig Wiseman.
"Craig came to the studio where we were cutting and he said he had an idea that we had to write right now, and boy, am I glad I decided to listen," Dunn said in a statement. "We locked into something. It's hard to describe, but it's powerful."
