Mariah Carey will perform two of her No. 1 hits during halftime when the Detroit Lions face the Atlanta Falcons at Detroit's Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day (11/24).

Toni Braxton will sing the national anthem prior to the game.

According to a press release, the halftime show spotlights the National Football League's 32-year partnership with the United Way, an association that has greatly increased the visibility of the charitable organization.

Mexican pop star Juan Gabriel was injured in a fall during his Sunday night (11/14) performance at Houston's Toyota Center.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the singer tripped and fell from the stage early in his set, breaking his wrist and suffering a concussion. Gabriel's planned Wednesday (11/16) show in New York City has been postponed, and a make-up show for Houston reportedly will also be scheduled.
