Motley Crue keeps tour rolling into the New Year

Reunited rock veterans Motley Crue , who played more than 100 arena dates in the U.S. this year, will crank out another round of U.S. shows in early 2006.

The new batch of arena shows kicks off in early February and dates so far are lined up through early April. The band's plans also include a New Year's Eve show in Auburn Hills, MI. Details are included in the itinerary below.

Tickets for all of the currently confirmed 2006 concerts will hit the box office on Saturday (11/19), according to a press release, while an online ticket pre-sale for all shows begins Tuesday (11/15). Select radio stations in the markets where shows are scheduled will be announcing the pre-sale password beginning at 7 a.m. local time, according to organizers.

Motley Crue launched its "Carnival of Sins" tour back in February, and has been on the road almost non-stop ever since. The outing is the band's first since 1999 to feature all four original members: Nikki Sixx (bass), Mick Mars (guitar), Tommy Lee (drums) and Vince Neil (vocals).

Several weeks before the tour's late-February launch, the Crue issued "Red, White & Crue," a two-disc best-of set that features 37 tracks, including three new songs: "If I Die Tomorrow," "Sick Love Song" and a cover of The Rolling Stones' "Street Fighting Man." The album sold more than 90,000 copies during its first week in stores, and debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200 album chart.

Late last month, the group dropped a new DVD titled "Carnival of Sins," which captures its April 27 performance in Grand Rapids, MI. The set--which also includes behind-the-scenes footage and other bonus materials--debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Music Video chart.
