Juliana Theory announces more dates
The Juliana Theory keeps on adding more shows to the second leg of its tour, which now stretches into late November.
The Pennsylvania-based indie-rock band next performs on Halloween night (10/31) Sacramento, CA. The group will play five more dates in California and then move through the Southwest, Midwest and the Northeast. The tour wraps up Nov. 21 in New York.
Jamison Parker and June will serve as the support acts on all dates. Roses Are Red and The Fury will also be on the bill in some cities.
The current tour itinerary is listed below.
The band is touring in support of its fourth album, "Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat," which has been receiving mostly rave reviews since it was released on Sept. 13. The video for the album's first single, "This Is a Lovesong . . . For the Loveless," was shot by director Travis Kopach (who is known Koufax), and should hit airwaves soon.
"We're more proud of what we've accomplished on this album than on any of our previous ones," vocalist Brett Detar said in a statement. "These lyrics are the darkest I've ever written. The past few years have been complete rollercoaster rides as far as our love lives were concerned. That has definitely helped fuel the lyrics and vibe as well as some serious business breakups and things of that nature."
