December mini tour on the books for James Taylor

Singer/songwriter James Taylor , who spent the summer touring the North American arena circuit, is lining up a mini-tour of the Northeast that will hit some markets he missed on his original run.

Taylor is so far scheduled to visit four cities--Rochester, NY; Wilkes-Barre, PA; Atlantic City, NJ; and Manchester, NH--between Dec. 14 and 20. Details are in the itinerary below; tickets for all four shows are on sale now.

During his summer tour, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was backed by longtime mates Steve Gadd (drums), Jimmy Johnson (bass), Michael Landau (guitar), Luis Conte (percussion), Larry Goldings (keyboards), Andrea Zonn (fiddle), and Arnold McCuller and Kate Markowitz (backing vocals).

Setlists featured hits from throughout his catalog, including "Your Smiling Face," "Mexico," "That's Why I'm Here," "How Sweet It Is," "Fire and Rain," "Sweet Baby James" and "Carolina in My Mind"

Taylor's most recent album of all-new material is 2002's "October Road." A holiday set titled "James Taylor: A Christmas Album"--sold exclusively at Hallmark retail outlets--followed last year.
