Singer/pianist John Legend [ tickets ] continues to tack shows onto his fall headlining tour, which kicks off Friday (10/21).

More than a dozen new dates grace Legend's itinerary, including stops in New York City, Atlantic City, Atlanta, Milwaukee and Newark, NJ. The additional shows extend the run into early December. Details are included below.

Also among the additions to the schedule is a Nov. 16 visit to the PromoWest Pavilion in Columbus, OH; that show replaces Legend's previously scheduled Nov. 20 concert at Columbus's Ohio Theatre.

Meanwhile, Legend's Nov. 23 show in Ann Arbor, MI, has been canceled outright.

Legend, who earlier this year opened for Alicia Keys during her North American tour, continues to back his inaugural album, "Get Lifted," which hit stores last December. The set debuted at No. 7 on The Billboard 200 album chart and rose to No. 4 during its second week out. Produced by platinum rapper Kanye West, "Get Lifted" features the cuts "Used to Love U" and "Ordinary People."

Last week, Legend picked up four nominations, including Artist of the Year, for this year's VIBE Awards. The ceremony will air Nov. 12 on UPN.

Legend is also in contention for the Favorite Male R&B Artist trophy at this year's American Music Awards, which will air Nov. 22 on ABC.
